About
My name is Dave Osborn and I am proud to provide one of the best known and sought after professional mobile discos in Dorset, with elegant and modern presentation, music for any occasion and a knowledgeable friendly DJ with over 25 years' experience.
The Gem Roadshow was first put together in 1990. At the time I had just started a DJ residency at the Wessex Superbowl (now Bowlplex). I had so many enquiries from customers to play at other venues that I decided to go mobile and combine this with my many nightclub residences where I ended up playing at some of the top venues at the time including The Academy, Silhouettes, Fifth Ave, Clouds and Poets' Corner to name but a few. Most of these have long since disappeared, however the experience I gained during this time was invaluable. At the start of the 2000s, the demand for wedding functions became overwhelming, I found myself in such demand I decided to say goodbye to the club scene and concentrate on these sorts of events. To this day, the Gem Roadshow is very often the first choice of couples seeking quality wedding entertainment.

I pride myself in making your function a success, this is my full-time job so I take it very seriously with a superb reputation, but I also love my work which I think is really important as I feel, if I'm enjoying myself, then you and your guests probably will too.
